01 / Google Drive access
Access to specific files.
The app requests drive.file to create and manage backup files it creates, and files explicitly opened with or shared with the app. This permission does not grant general access to every file in Google Drive.
02 / Backup protection
Encrypted before storage.
Restic encrypts and authenticates backup contents and snapshot metadata before upload. Restoring a backup requires the repository password or another valid repository key. Encryption does not guarantee availability or successful recovery.
